Have you ever wanted to design your own picture book? There's a brilliant competition to do just that here at The Reading Zone 

The Isle of Man Examiner asked us to tell them about our most popular books, and one of the top picture books was 'The Loon on the Moon' by Chae Strathie and Emily Golden. It's a fabulous book about space travel, dreams and the power of stories.

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

New in our Young Adult section this week is 'The Fault In Our Stars' by John Green. It's the story of Hazel Lancaster and Augustus Waters, two Indianapolis teenagers who meet at a support group for kids with cancer. This book is already being called a modern classic, and Hollywood is taking notice. Twilight producers Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen will be adapting the book into a movie.
